These unique pieces are made from 100% New Zealand Ancient Kauri timber that have been carbon dated to be between 30,000 to 50,000 years old.

The timber were sourced and extracted from the swamps of Upper North Island, air dried under special conditions for over 10 years, then hand turned by experienced wood turners in Christchurch. They are finished with bees’ wax and citrus oil blend that brings out the most organic beauty of the timber.

With high temperature steam sterilization, then high-pressure machine setting and drying, black tea brick looks like a brick block with dark brown color.

The tea smells and tastes good. It can be collected and kept for several years and the quality gets better with age.
